Chip Ahoy - PADSTOW

I ordered cod and haddock with chips and mushy peas, and everything was excellent. The fish was fresh and coated in crispy batter. Although there was a line when I arrived, I was served fairly quickly. The shop is a bit off the main road in Padstow, but it’s definitely worth seeking out.

The best piece of fish I've ever tasted. Absolutely amazing! You can't visit Padstow without stopping by this place! I enjoyed it about three hours ago, and I'm still thinking about it.

My partner and friend came here today, they said that the service is nice and friendly. They had freche chips and a huh burger everyone the hühnerburger must do something under because they are both now with skin cramps and sick. it has not come out of my partner and visit again, he says just a bit more cautious young and thank you.

I was eager to try the fish and chips in Padstow, as I generally find that seaside fish and chips can often be overpriced and of mediocre quality. However, I must say that Chip A'hoy is a serious contender for the best fish and chips in the UK and definitely the best in this part of Cornwall! The fish (I had both cod and haddock) was perfectly flaky, and the chips were fried to perfection; it was refreshing to see them prepared in the traditional way! It's much easier to support a genuinely local business when they deliver such excellent food. I've had the pleasure of sampling some of the finest fish and chips across the UK—from Lancashire and the east coast to the old mining towns of the Peak District, all the way down to the south coast and London. Additionally, I have experience working in a family-run fish and chip shop that proudly served customers from near and far since the 1920s, before it was sold to a chain that ultimately ruined it.
