The Anvil - Cornwall,Isles of Scilly

Today we had a beautiful Sunday dinner in the anvil, everything was cooked to perfection. there was a selection of huge slices of bark meat, pork and chicken with perfect roasts and yorkshire padded, delicious veg and enough gravy for a northern .and beautiful desserts.

Great beer, good food. a hidden gem. the best pub in cornwall.

Return to this pub when it opened from lockdown. it was fantastic and I am glad that it was made by the beer excellent, but best was the warm welcoming approach. Unfortunately, they weren't eating yet, but when I had eaten there before, it was great. love it.

For a small little place, it was lovely, the food took quite a while to come to you. The staff were very lovely and helpful. Would recommend

Me and my partner had a meal here while on holiday lsst week and it was **** delicious! The food was hot, cooked beautifully and i could have bathed in the stilton sauce that came with the steak. Very good customer service, would highly reccommend :
