Yakimix - Paco

Not really satisfying... :( the food was cold. The dessert wasnt really delicious, a bit disappointed cuz i got high hopes ,like for the price its not worth it :/

Poor sanitary system and un-accommodating staff. The price is exorbitant, for me hence it is in paucity with its choices and the japanese section was served with frozen un-fresh fish. How sad to see that it tries to manifest the diverse cuisine in a deceiving manner. This branch serves mostly pork protein and it saddens me that there were no beef in present. Ill never be eating here again and that is my fixed promise!

The smallest choice of food compared to all the other YakiMix I have been to. Refilling of the dimsum and the sashimi were so slow.  Every single time I go to this particular chain, it's so slow. There are countless servers and waiters just standing around doing NOTHING. It goes as bad as no availability for ice. These servers seriously don't do anything. They also tend to hang around the chairs where customers are trying to eat at, They tend to stare, They tend to be by the food and cause customers to wait until they're done grooming it. Other than that, the food isn't too dry and is cooked at best, averagely. There are better chains out there for the exact same price.  But if you're craving Jap/Kor food and you're nearby, and of course you're very hungry, then it's worth dropping by.

Thursday Feb2 Robinson Ermita, we are group of 3 people, we decided to have lunch at Yakimix a crave of japanese cuisine, the moment i entered the resto it was to be honest not that impressive look for a japanese themed buffet, so we had food the salad bar looks actually ok the tempura corner i think too much breaded you cant actually see the shrimp, the sushi corner i think the food was quite staying long enough in the light lamp that suppose to make the sushi stay warm, the grill corner was not much too appetising to look, the fish almost just the head and bones with a little meat on it, the pork slices and some not look fresh, the dessert corner halo halo was ok fruit salad looks good too and taste average just the average canned fruits, so anyway we started to get our rounds in all the food corners, thinking this would be a pretty good lunch, we got to grill some pork, sausage i mean the purefood like hotdogs we love our fav as a filipino, i grilled some fish tofu as well and bangus, we started our feast but as usual i want to enjoy the food and am quite observing as well, so here is my observance the waiters and waitresses seems wearing their gloves which is actually good ok i thought there is a good policy regarding hygiene but i saw one waiter standing in front of the buffet wearing a glove but scratching his behind and i was like eww and again i saw him wiping all the serving spoons plate with not so clean towel and yes am observing, so to say we 3 had lunch and i had eaten more than my friends because i love japanese food, i had sushi maki and some of the sushi on the buffet and i grilled some pork slices maybe a few piece, ok so that was quite a lunch, after leaving the Yakimix after 1 of roaming around Robinson i felt strange on my stomach so i told them i have to go home and i left them still at the Robinsons i went home i felt weak and slept, the next evening i lost counting how many times i went to poop and then the worst part was i had 39degree fever for d whole night, my mom decided to take me to the hospital because i was shaking and my fever was so high, at the hospital they took the sample of my fecal urine and blood, after 2hours in IV they gave me and inject me some paracetamol for my fever, the result came i was infected with AMOEBIASIS they found on my stool sample, it was a nightmare all i wanted is to enjoy my lunch of my favorite cuisine, i am writing this review for the management to have more understanding on work ethics and proper hygiene to all the staff and be more careful about the food you serving to your costumer, i have all my medical documents and the receipt i am not making these all up, please think about the proper hygiene food quality even it means cost cutting, i hope this will never happen to anyone.
