I took my family to the beach from San Leandro and we were all in the mood for Mexican food. We spotted this restaurant on the beach and decided to give it a try.
This is a wonderful spot to unwind, just a stone's throw away from the beach and with shops conveniently located across the street. The food is scrumptious and generously portioned. I highly recommend trying the carne Asada plate!
This Mexican restaurant has a single bar and ample indoor and outdoor seating. It is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the beach. They are known for serving the best burritos in the entire bay area, which keep us coming back for more. Another popular dish is the rock steak, grilled and carved to perfection. The bar in the back offers a variety of beers and cocktails, with excellent margaritas that taste authentic. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive. One of the biggest perks is the ability to walk around the restaurant and have the beach right there. Overall, this restaurant is in a fantastic location and highly recommended.
The table was dirty, the walls were dirty and had a lot of white splatter. Birds were landing on the tables, with one landing right next to me, narrowly missing my chair. Another customer came in with a very cute German Shepherd. I love dogs, but not in a restaurant. The tortilla chicken soup was $11.00 and came in a small portion, which was disappointing.
