The Marsh Harrier - Oxford

For me, the key to a good night out at a restaurant or pub or similar organisation is firstly the personnel and secondly the quality of the food and drinks. In this instance, Leo at the bar was outstanding. A wonderful host, prompt and efficient and witty and extremely gracious and warm. Good on 'yer, mate! By the way, the chips he served us were among the best I 've tasted anywhere, any time.

My partner and I decided to go out for Sunday lunch and we are so glad we did. It was honestly the best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time. The restaurant was busy, but the service was efficient. We both ordered the roast beef and it was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff were lovely and it was a pleasure to dine there. The cucumber and rose gin was delicious, I'm now on the hunt for a bottle. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked a table for ten for my husband's birthday. Thank you to the staff for a fantastic afternoon.

We've been hunting for a great roast in Oxford for ages, especially one that does a good veggie option and we've found one, finally! Warm welcome, crackling fire, bustling atmosphere, and a lovely big plate of delicious food. Will definitely be our new Sunday spot.

This wonderful pub offers delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. I tried the chicken and avocado burger with a side of salad and chips, and it was incredibly tasty and fresh. The other burgers were also top-notch. I will certainly return to sample the Sunday roasts. The beer selection was excellent, and the restaurant has plenty of seating, as well as a lovely garden area. Overall, it was definitely worth the visit. Thank you.

This restaurant is a great spot for a traditional Sunday roast. After enjoying our meal on the lovely day, we also spent some relaxing time in the beautiful garden. Additionally, the nearby Marsh car park offers free parking for the first 3 hours. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
