La Cucina - Oxford

After months of anticipation, we finally dined at this restaurant. The appetizers were delicious and served quickly, despite the busy atmosphere. The main courses were well presented and made with fresh ingredients, although my dish lacked flavor. The homemade pasta was cooked perfectly. The dessert was outstanding and we will definitely be back to try more from the menu. We are happy to have discovered a reliable local Italian restaurant. (I agree with a previous reviewer that the kitchen staff tend to stare, but I just smiled and looked away.)

Lovely little place. Went there on a work event. Food was really good and service great. Would definitely recommend and will return when I'm next back in Oxford

There was a large group of us, so we pre-ordered in advance. Unfortunately due to a bus breakdown, some of the parties were running late and the team were very helpful and understanding of the delay. They asked us when we were ready and we didn't go long without empty drinks in the meantime. The food was great, the staff were attentive and lovely and we were all happy with our food. Good vegan options as well, which doesn't go a-miss! Our main server was great too, I believe her name was Emma but I can't be sure. She was so helpful, kind and patient with our big group.

This restaurant is a rip off! They serve tiny portions of pizza and tuna salad at double the price. This has happened more than once in November 2023. The serving sizes are unbelievably small. The manager, Iola, is unprofessional and unsympathetic to customers. She made us feel like we were lying and her attitude was impolite and aggressive. We will never order from La Cucina again.

Excellent meal menu is varied and plenty of vegetarian options. We had fish/pasta/pizza all were delicious and the service was friendly and attentive
