On a very rare sunny Sunday afternoon I drove to portabello restaurant in oxford for a late lunch. like a bit background for those of them that are not too familiar with oxford, portabello restaurant is known in summertown (nord oxford,) which is a nicer part of oxford. when the sun is outside, it is the perfect place for a walk – there are many small shops, pubs, finer restaurants, the best Italian restaurant (mamma mia) and a weincafé – what else do you need!?

Don't judge a book by its cover! Despite its beautiful appearance, this restaurant is only average. The steak I ordered was not as tasty as I had hoped. I would not recommend this place.
