Smoketown Bbq And Catering

We are always down to try a new bbq spot. Unfortunately it didn’t start great, our online order wasn’t ready until 20 minutes past pickup time. We ordered the Smoketown throwdown sandwich, big Memphis sandwich, baked beans and fries. We received only 2 tiny containers of bbq sauce, and the sandwiches are huge. For a bbq spot in KC that’s just a crime. The buns used just disintegrated upon taking out of the box. We get bbq sandwiches to go frequently, so we know this doesn’t always happen, and must be the bun used. Smoketown was good quality meat, but just fell apart. Neither sandwich had enough bbq sauce on them. The Memphis was supposed to have pulled pork AND coleslaw. I attached the picture so you can see just how little coleslaw was actually on there. Good flavor meat, but can’t tell you anything about the coleslaw. The fries were nice and crispy but no salt. The baked beans are possibly the only thing without complaint. Overall, I would give them another chance, maybe it’s better in person?

By far the best restaurant service of any staff in town!!! The staff is very friendly and excellent at serving you. The food is excellent and the place has a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Best BBQ in town. The meat melts in your mouth. The sauces are spot on. And the side dishes are delicious as well. As far as portion sizes, you get your money's worth. Service with a smile, and the place is very clean. We highly recommend them.

First time trying this spot on a Sunday lunch; service was attentive and helpful and food was good. Decent size portions for sides and meat on the sandwiches was good. Give this place a try for sure when you're in the area and don't want to wait in lines at the other spots.
