Desta's Ethiopian Cuisine

Excellent place. It is sad that they are shutting down the restaurant. The food was great.

Doesn’t get much friendlier than this. I had an injera craving and went to Desta’s for the first time today. Immediately when I arrived for my order I was greeted with a smile and saw my beloved injera waiting for me on the counter. Had a nice conversation with Desta (I believe) and can’t wait to come back when I can enjoy some of the various items on the menu and of course some Ethiopian coffee as well. Lucky to have this restaurant so close by!

This place is a little gem. Everything was so tasty. We got the platter for 2 and it was all so delicious. The restaurant is clean and charming with white table cloths under glass. Service was good. I haven’t eaten Ethiopian food before and I was pleasantly surprised. Kind of like Indian food but different. Will be back

Our first time experiencing this cuisine. The atmosphere was small and cozy. The owners were very nice and appreciative of us learning about the cuisine. She offered a first timer suggestion on what to order and we were glad she did. The food was excellent and very filling. Tried the combo tips(lamb and chicken). Flavorful and tender. The lentils and greens added even more flavor to the roll ups. The salad cooled our palettes down from the spicy flavors. Great food enjoyed with good friends. Capped the evening off with Ethiopian coffee and warm baklava. Tasty meal! Can’t wait to go back again.
