Epicure - Overland Park

I like to come to this restaurant for breakfast on the weekends. The staff is friendly, and after not visiting for over a month, the woman seating people remembered me and greeted me warmly when I returned. They make delicious made-to-order omelets and tasty croissants. They also offer a decent selection of other traditional breakfast items.

I stayed an extra 2 weeks at this restaurant and the staff's behavior was unacceptable. There was no improvement in their attitude. The only positive aspect was the chefs who were kind and skilled.

I have dined at this restaurant twice. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. I was there for a business meeting and I must say, you have to try the wings! They are delicious and substantial.

Let me tell you, well deserved 5 stars! I travel all around the country on business. Marriott Platinum Elite, Yelp Elite and fairly well versed. This little bar/restaurant in the Marriott downtown OP is excellent. Ambience: Not too much to work with being just around the corner of the hotel lobby but they've done an excellent job with the layout. Welcoming and relaxing, plenty of TVs and screens for the game. Service: Top notch! Very friendly, attentive, and outgoing...typical Midwest expectations. The staff is a great group of folks for sure. Food: Really freaking good, no joke. As someone coming into town frequently on business and works heavy hours, after a long day rather than hopping big around to find something to eat I am more than happy to come down here, have a cold beer and grab a bite. It's always good, only con I would say is a limited menu. But look this isn't an all out restaurant and they have done excellent with what they do offer. In town on business or pleasure, check out this Marriott. Rooms are very well kept, front desk is great, bar and food are both convenient and delicious...also a Starbucks right in the lobby. Love staying here when I'm in KC doing business with Sprint!
