Chi-town Original - Overland Park

I'm a huge fan of Chicago beef sandwiches and hot dogs. I visited this restaurant last week and took the clergy's recommendation to try the Italian beef with paprika and provolone cheese, along with some hot fries. Wow, this place was fantastic! The sandwich had the perfect blend of crispy and chewy textures, with just the right amount of juiciness from the beef—exactly how a genuine Chicago sandwich should be. The fries were hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious, slathered in ketchup and full of flavor. The service was quick, and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely come back to try one of their hot dogs!

I've visited this restaurant several times and have always received friendly service. The food may take a bit longer to arrive since it's made fresh, but it's definitely worth the wait! Everything I've tried has been delicious. I highly recommend the chili cheese dog, fries, and their chocolate shakes.

I visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was fantastic—definitely worth returning to! I had a special Greek wrap that was absolutely delicious, and they were very accommodating about removing the onions for extra cheese. My husband tried the burger and loved it; he can't wait to go back! The staff is also incredibly nice, friendly, and clearly happy to be at work. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

For my Chicago people living in the KC area, I serve for a real hot dog. I also have the combo and sausage was tasteful, but the beef is okay. Wish it uses another type of bread although cause when they dive it, it simply do not keep it together as a dip usually does. I can't give it 5 stars because I? ve had this food my whole life before I found out there was too much to compare. If you return, you should check it for a causal meal.

This was our first time to eat at Chi Town Original. The staff was extremely friendly and Javier, the manager, was enjoyable to chat with. The restaurant is bright, clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. There is interesting Chicago sports memorabilia on the walls. My wife ordered a Chop salad and my daughter and I ordered Chicago Dogs. Generally, I am no fan of hot dogs but decided to give a Chi Dog a try. The Chi Dog was the best hot dog I have ever eaten. I ordered it with the works. My daughter loved hers as well. My wife said her Chop salad was excellent but she couldn?t eat it all so she will take it home to finish later. The manager also gave me a sample of the Italian Beef sandwich and it was also excellent. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for quality food that is also quick. I will place this restaurant on my regular rotation.
