Contribuiți la feedbackA friend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the crab, mango, and avocado dish, which was wonderfully fresh and flavorful. The service was fantastic. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because it can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is full.
Bazille has become the destination of the restaurant for my friend, and I, where we celebrate our birthdays, and now 62-year-old friendship with plenty of wine and entertainment and food. The menu is simply enough varied, the food is so reliable delicious, and the service is...consistent professional, helpful and attentive. Today's star was Adam, the server par excellence, whose people skills, knowledge about the food and wine menu, and tolerance of rather sharp old girls were exactly what we need two galls. Another great trip to Bazille that creates sweet memories for us.
Unfortunately, Bazille went to the brunch menu for the weekend. I don't want brunch, I want lunch. I loved her past menu, not like the brunch menu. So we're not going back this weekend. We've been going to Bazille for years, and I'm unhappy they're not my lunch at the weekend.
My friend and I have a standing date once a month, rain, snow or shine to eat here. Always great, service, food and ambience. Geat small jewel hidden in Nordstrom
During my recent trip to Ottawa on vacation, we visited Nordstrom and visited Bazille. I had seen the menu online and it looked really good. While wandering through the store this past Saturday around 10:30am, we looked at the menu again and decided to come...back at 11am for lunch. When we arrived, we were told we had seen the wrong menu and were given the brunch menu. Hugh disappointment. While the brunch menu looked nice, we really wanted the regular menu options. Too embarrassed to leave after being sat, we decided to stay. We ordered the spinach dip to start, then two breakfasts with eggs and homemade chicken sausage. The spinach dip was okay. It was very runny and the bread with it was not good. The problem with the bread was that it was heavy on the herbs. Then you added the dip and you did not know which was which. The dip by itself tasted okay. With the bread, it was salty and not great. I had the breakfast with scrambled eggs and the chicken sausage. I was told that I would have multigrain toast with it, which was great because I prefer multigrain. When my breakfast arrived, I had plain white bread. That was disappointing. My eggs were very pepper focused and sausage was nothing special. My mother had the same breakfast with overhard eggs. She had asked for white bread, as she does not eat multigrain bread. Her eggs was very peppery too, so she could not eat them. Overall, it was an okay breakfast. A lot of my disappointment was over being given the regular menu, which looked great, and then having to settle for the brunch. The brunch only started in May so it was an honest mistake but the breakfast was not great anyway. If I return to Ottawa, I might call ahead to make sure I know which menu before going.
