Your Place - Ottawa

The restaurant has recently changed ownership and is now named JT's Tavern. Sadly, the air conditioning was not functioning, which made for a rather uncomfortable temperature indoors, and the beer served was warm. I’m rating it two stars because the food was quite decent.

It's important for restaurants to keep their customers informed about staffing shortages or potential delays in food orders. Every time we place a takeout order, we receive a pick-up time, but often end up waiting up to an hour longer than expected. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to collect the customer's name and phone number at the time of ordering so they can notify us of any delays or unavailability of certain dishes. For instance, tonight we ordered at 5:38 and were told our food would be ready in 25 minutes, yet we didn't leave until 6:35. This has happened 4-5 times now, and it's understandably frustrating for customers.

**Price Range: $20 - $30 per person** I recently had dinner at this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal. The menu featured a wide range of options to suit various tastes, and everything we tried was delicious. The prices were quite reasonable, generally ranging from $20 to $30 per person, which felt justifiable considering the quality of the food. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner out!
