Dig Doug's Bbq - Ottawa

As owner of a 22-year-old charcoal/wood smoker, I can only say that this meat is perfectly smoked to my taste. The smokey aroma on the way home was mouthwater. The Brisket dinner is big enough that I had leftovers also the bag of the frits are awesome. The ribs are tender with large wort. The baked beans remind me of Big John's beans and fixins from the seventies only better. The homemade sauces are delicious I tried the horseradish with the brisket and the hot sauce with the ribs that no one needed. And the burgers are huge and juicy. My smoker will use less... I can't wait to try something else next time.

I went there for the first time because McDonald's passage was secured. At least I knew there was a window in the Dig Dougs. Waiting was less than 5min and eating was 1000x better! Brisket was amazing... recommend You this place very much!

Excellent food and staff! Will definitely come back! The cattle brisket sandwich, rib sandwich and zartoin whole family was very satisfied!

I just had the ribs. Excellent taste, and the hot sauce is also great!! Slav and Mac and cheese are just as good. Great place Doug and staff. I'm glad you're only 7 miles away from my house now.

Ordered for the first time yesterday, and it was heaven on earth! As good or better than Famous Dave's, and we don't have to drive an hour to get it! Hope you stay here!!
