Had pork BAO bun combo delivered. Meat has smoky taste. But some fatty pig skin not that nice. Would be nicer if it was made into crackling. Not a lot of meat in the BAO bun. Also bun very thick. Combo upgrade good value. Gives another tray of food. Chips very nice seasoning. Coleslaw good. Mac cheese ok. The smoky flavor is surprising to create for a BBQ. I do wonder if much of it is created by a fake smoky sauce flavoring, especially given it has a long lingering aftertaste and just something not legit about it....

I've seen this place pop up on Google maps while passing, and wanted to try it. It's not fancy, just good grilled food, and the Mac and cheese sides are a nice touch. I've tried the ribs and smoked chicken, and loved both. I think it's more catered for takeaway, but the dining area does have a nice informal bar feel. Vegetarian options: It's a rib shack, so no. Not the place for vegetarian. Parking: It's on a block of shops, so parking is not extensive, but enough.

Tried the family platter, food was beautiful, really happy with the amount of food, and awesome service. I will definitely return Highly recommended. Ordered the brisket meal and the brisket was very dry and the Mac and cheese was bland. The quality of food here doesn’t seem to be consistent. Very disappointed Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 1

Been here three times in the past month and enjoyed it more every visit! The ribs and brisket have amazing flavour, although could be a bit tough to bite and chew. I personally enjoy meat with a little more texture and chewiness, so not a problem for me. I’m usually a bit apprehensive about spending 20-30 on a meal anywhere else but here, the value is amazing.
