Breadsmith - Oro Valley

First visit here. I'm here at 10 o'clock to meet someone for business and thought we had a cup of coffee and a bagel. I certainly and certainly found out from the curmudgeonly, older dame behind the theke that they do not serve coffee or bagels and even if she was not to make. When I asked if I could just order a slice of coffee cake, I was rudely advised that I would have to buy the entire cake. I finished a cinnamon twist thing that was delicious, but nothing special. I bought it to be polite, something that the scrupulous woman behind the counter was completely in the dark. I am sure the product that comes from this place is good, but it has nothing to do with the lack of customer service skills that this woman is in desperate need.

Our first time here, my husband loves all kinds of bread. When we came in there, this great representation of different canned, jams, etc. The person who helped us is very friendly and informative. It is a very simple and small bakery. I didn't see a table or seating area. And the place, although small is well kept. Really clean. We tried all our bread at home and everything is really fresh and delicious! Can't wait to get the pizza dough from them. Absolutely come back.

We gave them a try three times and each time it was more disappointing. Bread rolls were always dry and seemed days old. Cookies were extremely dry and lacked flavor. Coffee cake was undercooked and still tasted like raw batter. Pizza dough turns out tough and cardboard like with ZERO flavor.

Cinnamon Rolls were stale, dry and tasted old.What bothered me was at the time I visited, there was no prices posted

Breadsmith makes yummy bread as well as pastries. The apple pie loaf is , omg, so good.
