Mountain Oaks Tea Room - OOLTEWAH

When my daughter visited, we tried several restaurants, but this one was definitely our favorite. I loved the atmosphere, and the owner was incredibly friendly. The food was outstanding. Although we're not big tea drinkers, we enjoyed what we had. The rustic ambiance made it the perfect spot for a mother-daughter day.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! We held my daughter's wedding here three years ago and just had her baby shower last week. I highly recommend this venue for any special occasion. The ambiance is stunning, and the food and staff are remarkable.

This is a lovely and popular teahouse. It's a good idea to call ahead for reservations to ensure you secure a table. For high tea, be sure to call at least 24 hours in advance. They offer excellent vegetarian options, which are also available during high tea. Please note that the guest bathroom is located upstairs, and there is no elevator.

Update: 7/20/2021 As perfect as I remembered. Perfect!!! From the first swallow of the peach ice tea to the last bite of our strawberry chocolate cheese cake, it was an extraordinary experience in southern hospitality. The mansion is so elegant and the place settings were the epitome of Afternoon Tea charm. I called for adaptation and owner Sonya was so sweet to accommodate us with their delicious creations. Our host was such an ageless beauty, so imagine my shock when Sonya said it was her mommy.

My favorite place to go for Afternoon Tea! They are so friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious, and they have some excellent tea blends to choose from.
