Sweet Pea's County Catfish

We were working in the area for the week and decided to give this restaurant a try. I’d noticed there was a location near my home but had never visited. I was pleased to find that the vegetables contained no meat. Next time, I plan to order the veggie plate, as the only meat I eat is fish, which wasn’t the best quality here. I found the spicy broccoli to be surprisingly sweet. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I’ll likely dine here again before heading back to St. Petersburg, Florida.

Last week, I had a relaxed day and decided to stop for lunch. When I walked in, a young woman greeted me with such warmth, as if I were her long-lost best friend! Her energy was contagious, and it really made my day. I truly appreciate when staff go above and beyond to make customers feel not just welcomed, but truly happy! Thank you!

This southern restaurant is excellent. My mother and I had the fried pork chops, and they were fantastic. The greens and cornbread were also delicious.

Yesterday the baked chicken was so salty and hard that I couldn't eat it. Also the beet greens were hardly warm. I usually really like Abby's food, but the last few times food was just scarcely warm and the Lima beans were dried out. The food is expensive so that it should be given in preparation.
