Contribuiți la feedbackWe spent a nice evening in an Alsatian winstub that deserves to be stopped for its warm and family atmosphere, and its alsatian dishes in tasting, but also its traditional menu with just and succulent cooking. The chosen accompaniments marvel at this kitchen. We will come back with great pleasure. Thank you Service: Dine in
We discovered this restaurant with a good gift dakotabox cuisine and familiar prestige with the traditional restaurants of Alsatian cuisine, we didn't think we were also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes served! We were certainly in the classics (and it's not pejorative. Fish entrance pistol, main flat calf square, but the products were of excellent quality! and very well prepared! (sauces, cooking, accompaniment). So we enjoyed these dishes especially! simply delicious! and we had the opportunity to tell the boss, very friendly, in turn tables. Bravo, and we'll be back!
If you are looking for Alsatian food (Tarte Flambee, cordon bleu... , this is a restaurant for you. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The dishes are not very light but are very tasty and well presented. The atmosphere is cheerful and cozy.
We sumbled on this place by accident whilst looking for a brunch one Sunday morning. We saw a restaurant sign at a roundabout and this led us to the Foret du Rhin. If you like fast food, hamburgers, formica, modernesque surroundings and uncommitted staff, then this is not the place for you. Equally, you’ll spend a ‘few shillings’ ihere, but you’ll come away with a profound ‘Wow’ feeling. The food is cooked to order in this family restaurant and took 20 minutes, or so, to arrive, but a glass of local Alsace wine filled the gap magnificently. I thought the food standard to be pretty much Haute Cuisine and well worth the wait and price. I had Poisson and my wife had braised knuckle of pork. The English description denies the dishes full justice, because it was all so very well presented and utterly tender and delicious. Any hope of ending the meal there were futile, so out came the ‘cheese truck’ and something yummy for Madame. The owner served us personally, trying his hardest in English, as his son did the cooking and his wife helped to serve. He knew how to make a foreigner welcome and had clearly passed his ‘client friendliness’ course with honours. We had a very small meal that night, not wishing to dilute the memory or taste of the wonderful lunch we’d had. What a find!
Il suffit de lire le ton de la réponse à mon avis. J'ai surtout parlé du service peu amène et on me répond sur la tarte à l'oignon dont je n'ai que faire et qui n'était qu'une anecdote. Basta
