Contribuiți la feedbackYesterday with my mother on the return journey from a visit to the father in the Reha in Vlotho (I was in the meantime still on the legendary Lufti meeting T1 and Brezelkäfer in Hessisch Oldendorf) suddenly became noticeable to my mother. I asked her what she had appetite for, but I should just choose something. Proved, only 2 exits on the A2 until the Oelde exit. My choice today fell in Balkan dishes at Hotel Zum Wasserturm. Unfortunately, yesterday the temperatures did not allow to dine outside. We were kindly greeted by a waiter and were allowed to choose between four free four tables in the front part or lay a table in the conservatory. We chose the front part where the salad bar and the drinks counter are also located. I have already written a few things for the interior in my last review for a visit in August 2014, which has not changed. This time only male waiters were on site, with the two waiters who served us were very friendly and attentive. As a result, this time the service reaches 4 stars (in the last rating, a younger operation unfortunately has torn down a bit). Ordered 1 Cola light 0.3l for 2.50€ and a Potts`Alster 0.3l for also 2.50€, which were served well-tempered quickly. A beverage reorder at a later time also worked smoothly. Pott ́s is the local brewer from Oelde and also in the Ruhrpott very popular: [here link] For my mother, the Putensteak Hawaii was ordered for 14,90€ and for 1x the Balkan classic Cevapcici for 10,90€. The waiter referred even more kindly to the salad buffet for our supplements salads, which was already known to me. The salad buffet consists of the usual ingredients in a Balkan restaurant no special slips up where there were three sauces. 1x cocktail French, 1x yogurt and once vinegar oil. The individual positions at the salad buffet were very fresh and also tasty, except that my selected French Dressing cocktail is still 99% not itself made and may come from a large known manufacturer. But I got worse cocktail dressing served. After a pleasant waiting period our main dishes were served. The Putensteak Hawaii Putensteak Hawaii of my mother was very big, with 6 croquettes, a really delicious curry sauce (they also tried) and with very many pineapple pieces so many she hasn't got anywhere yet. The size of the portion was more than sufficient and it was also enthusiastic about the taste and quality. On my Cevapcici plate Cevapcici were 7 well-grilled Cevapcici, with good spice and pleasant knobinote, tasty fries and a good amount of hot non-cooked and tasty Djuwetsch rice. There are 4 stars for the dishes. What is new now, however, is served to grill dishes on a plate two small glass bowls with 1x Ajvar (from the large glass) and 1x with onions. As my Ajvar, of course, was not enough, there was also a beverage post-order and an Ajvar post-order, which took place very quickly, now the Ajvar was even in a big carafe and without subsequent calculation (thanks to it). Furthermore, I was asked kindly during the post-order whether there may be a few more onions, but I thankfully refused because I still had enough of them on my plate. The payment also worked exemplary with a reasonable cash deposit incl. Two cold Julischka. Then we were kindly adopted. Conclusion: consistent good quality in food and a reasonable PLV. We will be happy to come back on occasion.
