Beautiful clothing store where I bought some super sweet and comfortable overalls with a unique pattern and lots of clothing for the kids. Friendly staff and fair prices. We will be back every time we visit the island!

Mermaid's foolishness is one of my favorite shops. After the huge hurricane ripped Ocracoke year before, I wondered what happened with it. When we went there last weekend, we saw it was restored. It took more than a year! Many hard work. But as before the articles there is such a joy to consider and choose. All are beautiful and artistic and flowing. Large teas show island topics, beautiful fabrics with batiks and gorgeous cotton. Anyway, glad they're back!

As a mermaid lover, I really enjoy this store. I always visit when I'm on Ocrakoke, and I usually find something mermaid-related to get!

Loved this place! The owner was so, so nice helpful! The clothing is beautiful very well priced. I purchased a beautiful dress mermaid t shirt. I will definitely be returning to shop here again!
