Gaffer's - Ocracoke

We came to ocracoke for the day and loved him at gaffers! service was friendly, fast and eating was great. we got the black garnels afteros that were huge and more than enough of a starter for my man, my son and me. they also tasted delicious! we have burger and pommes, chicken philly and chicken wings for our escape. we are full and happy; we will be back at the next visit on the island!

That's it! The service was terrible! My family and I waited almost half an hour just to get a menu, we didn't receive any drinks or assistance and the place was so crowded that we couldn't even move! In the end, we decided to go to another restaurant. I would advise others not to visit this place if they don't want to deal with poor service.

We ordered the blackened shrimp nachos, which were generously sized and served as a satisfying appetizer for my husband, son, and myself. They were delicious as well! Our main dishes included a burger and fries, chicken philly, and chicken wings. We left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied, and we look forward to returning on our next visit to the island!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was the worst I have ever encountered. My family and I waited almost thirty minutes just to get a menu, and we never received any drinks or assistance. The restaurant was so overcrowded that there was no space to move around. In the end, my family decided to leave and go to a different restaurant. I strongly advise against dining here if you want to avoid terrible service.
