Contribuiți la feedbackStill getting over the rudeness of the staff member I encountered. I used to frequent this place before the current owners and take guests there for meals. Never again.
Great little cafe hidden in the O’Connor shops. Have been here a few times. Busy often, especially weekends. Staff here are friendly and provide good service. There are Gluten Free and Vegetarian options on the menu. Interior is in need of a make over however, walls could do with a paint. Comfortable. Food is good. Will go back again.
Dark, dismal and grubby inside, give that a miss. Limited outside (footpath) tables, and difficult to get a table around lunchtime. Your ‘neighbours’ will be 1 foot away and you can ‘enjoy’ their conversation, if you can hear it over the waaaay too loud screaming excuse for music that they pump out even on to the footpath!?!??. Forget any chance of a quiet relaxing coffee NO chance of that at all, ever! Overpriced, average coffee, served by a disinterested waiter after a 20 minute wait. Won’t waste my money and time there again!
I ordered the calamari with salad for $20. I was shocked at how small the portion was, perhaps I have been in Poland for too long. The meal was average, but definitely not worth the price.
I 've been a regular at 39 Steps since it opened. Fair to say it 's at its lowest ebb currently in all that time. I still drop in for a coffee pretty regularly, and I want it to do well because it 's my local, but it needs to lift its game. It doesn 't seem that there 's a manager there at all these days, as no one really seems to be in charge. If someone is in charge, they need to take charge and sort out the problems. The coffee (the most important bit) is hit and miss, depending on who makes it. By way of constructive feedback: Shouldn 't have to wait 10 15 mins for a coffee. At busy times, get your team cranked up and working as a team. You 've got two steamers, so you shouldn 't have a load of coffee shots lined up with people waiting on the one and only person who is doing milk. Coffee should come how it was ordered every time. The young staff are nice enough, but 'highly motivated ' isn 't how I 'd describe the overall operation. It was never 'fine dining ' but it was decent. Now it 's not, and it 'll bomb completely if it isn 't sorted out. C 'mon guys.
