Duck Donuts - Ocean Drive Beach

Gotta find this store in Atlanta. We saw our donuts being created before our eyes. And to chomp down on warm donuts, fresh from the machine they were created from, I'm telling you it was the closest thing from heaven. I actually took pictures.

I ordered online 30 minutes before close. I was all of 3 minutes away and got there to a closed sign and two very rude employees. They wouldn’t fill my order or help me get a refund. The old lady came to the door to eat a donut in my face and tell me to leave and that she didn’t care to help me.

This is a awesome little shop. I walked in to place an ordered. But noticed people in line so I went to the mobile ordering booth thing in there. I grabbed a half dozen to check out what they have. They have so many assortment of donuts. I grabbed the bacon and maple bacon donuts, cookies and cream, s'mores, and two other types. I apologize for not remembering the names. But every one of those donates was the best and freshest donuts I've had in a very long time. By the time I got back to the house, they are made so fresh, the icing started to melt off them and I was only a mile away. I left them sitting out a day and came back and those puppies still tasted as if they had just been freshly baked just then. I am surprised about these donuts and even more excited to see a place like this make every order freshly. Not any of that pre-made stuff. Will be back.

The donuts are phenomenal. The staff is horrible. It's a Saturday at 7pm. There's 15 people waiting for donuts and 1 person making them at the slowest possible pace I've ever seen in my entire life. To make a dozen donuts it took 8:13 seconds. THATS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. And they couldn't care how fast they are moving. Y'all are losing so much business by letting these people work here. Not to mention the whole time just complaining about doing the job.

Not a fan! Non traditional dough and icing melts on hot donuts, which I realize are fried fresh, but ultimately defeat the purpose. Dough was dense and overall experience was disappointing. Not a repeat for us!!!
