Silver River - Oakley

Fantastic service and amazing food—what more could you want? This place is definitely worth a visit. Be sure to order the secret menu items; they're unforgettable! The salt and pepper shrimp and house chow fun are absolute must-tries. You can thank me later!

Silver River is my family's go-to Chinese restaurant. The food is outstanding, and the service is great whether you choose to dine in or take out.

Two nights ago, we ordered takeout from this little restaurant, choosing the Mu-Shu Pork and Chicken Chow Mein. The Mu-Shu Pork was quite good—though not exceptional—so I’d consider ordering it again for a quick meal. However, the Chicken Chow Mein was lacking; it reminded me of plain spaghetti noodles tossed with a bit of cabbage and some pieces of chicken. Overall, it was very bland and disappointing. Our friends suggested we should have tried the House Chow Mein instead. This tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant has been in Oakley for as long as I can remember, which in itself is a testament to its worthiness for a visit!

After the Chinese restaurant we normally had a huge price increase at the same time the quality and quality went down we decided to try something else. eating in the silver river was very good and cheap with portions that are large enough to take homeboxes. the personal was super friendly and attentive.

I had an excellent experience with the customer service and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Thanks for the recommendation, Mike! I can't wait to come back soon!
