Brenda's Pizzeria - Oakland

By far one of my favorite places, when in deep creek/Oakland area. the menu shows some Italian eating in NY style. the garlic garnel is an ingenious appetizer, just ask for brot so they can enjoy the whole sauce. the pizza is from this world, the basic pfefferoni pizza can anyone, the white pizza is packed with taste. are generous. Pasta dishes remind me of little italy in nyc. they have a selection of wein and beer. beautiful view of the lake. can be quickly overcrowded.

We stopped here on the basis of the reviews and do not want a pub/bar feeling. they go in and the smell of pizza meets them immediately, so good! the room is not super big so they might have to wait for some time for a table. our waiting period was 40 minutes on Saturday at 17:30. the restaurant has a beautiful view of the deep creek lake where they can see boats going while they eat. we ordered their 1lb garnel and snuggle (garlic and butter) to begin. both were very good and met the place. my wife and divided a calzone to which we added pfefferminz, and I had a little besidesalate. both were very good. my daughter ordered the cod with spaghetti and was a little disappointed over the whole taste and spaghetti. the staff is very nice, but the service was very slow, which was a little disappointing. there is also not much parking space so they might have to wait for a place or park further away and to foot.

What a delightful surprise! I had lunch with friends at Rocky Gap, and it was fantastic. The service was quick, and there were plenty of staff on hand. There were no COVID restrictions in place, which was a nice change. The salads we ordered were enormous!

I’m so glad we dined here! I love everything about the pizza—the sauce, the crust, the toppings, etc. It’s AMAZING! The service is top-notch as well.
