Lakeside Creamery - Oakland

Lakeside Creamery has a cart at Swallow Falls Park and that?s where I tried it. The vanilla is superb. Best I ever had. I think they use real vanilla essence. My daughter is a vanilla lover and she liked it too. The lime sherbet tasted very natural and homemade and had little bits of zest.

Ice cream is awesome from here. They really know how make things creamy. I highly recommend their ice cream. Keep in mind that there can be a line line to get in the store but it moves relatively quickly and it's worth it. Most recently had their coconut chip and they're chocolate peanut butter. Both were outstanding. Well flavored, creamy, not to overpowering, yet rich and decadent. Highly recommend supporting this little jem. Thanks, Lakeside Creamery, for offering such

The three stars is for the ice cream itself, its good ice cream and its definitely a great treat at the end of a hot day. The sundae choices are superb. However customer service leaves a tremendous amount to be desired. Was really shocked at how rude and dismissive the young man was waiting on us, have never encountered that here at this place before.

Very busy, but great ice creams and sundays. A nice place to sit outside and look at the lake. Can get busy though.

This wasn't the best I've tasted, but it was Good ice cream. I didn't have time to compare it with another local creamery since my visit to the area was short, but I can say it wasn't overpriced and they give you a good portion for your money, unlike other creameries I've been to. It was also great being able to enjoy my ice cream with an awesome view!
