Advised me that they had no record of the order but had already taken the money from my account. Emailed to ask for refund but no joy! Phoned again a couple of days later and said they’d phone me back but heard a lady in the background who accused me of lying! Needless to say have never received a call back, apology or refund! LIKE OTHERS HAVE SAID BEWARE OF ORDERING ON THEIR WEBSITE MUST BE MAKING A FORTUNE FROM CUSTOMERS WHO ORDER BUT NEVER GET THEIR FOOD AND ARE STILL CHARGED!
Absolutely fed up of this place now. Awful food AGAIN! Order wrong... AGAIN! The place is also so dirty makes my skin crawl. If I hadn’t of paid before collecting my food I literally wouldn’t have collected it.
Ordered a delivery for New Year’s Eve, accepted through just eat as normal, got my delivery time for 7.30 in the evening , time arrived and waited another 30minutes before calling due to being a busy day , no delivery and unable to contact them . Waited another 20minutes and still no delivery, so got in the car and went down. Only to arrive with 3 or 4 other people experiencing the same issue and they ordered before 6pm and were still waiting. We then all get told that it has not even been started yet . I get a measly £1.20 refund for delivery charge as I collected ! Not happy and will never use them again. Food was eventually received and I sat down with my family at 10 30pm . A full 2 hours later. However, they still were accepting new orders and telling their customers 30minutes delay and then changed their minds after the complaining customers telling them they cannot do that they then said 2 hour delivery . Even their own delivery drivers were getting frustrated as they were being sent out with one meal at a time ! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS to save disappointment.
My daughter ordered us both a takeaway, when we started to eat it, I bit into something, that looked like a nail. We contacted them and they came out and took a photo, no apology, and I’m still waiting for a refund
Well I ordered my dinner on 30th March at 6:15pm and it still has not arrived now 10th April! They have taken my money, set up a recurring transaction authorisation and have never issued a refund. I have even spoke to the Wigston restaurant and they said they would refund me on 30/3. Nothing credited so I have got the bank involved who are looking into fraud. Please be careful ordering online from Red Latern. How many other people are they doing this too?
