Boboli - Harborough

Having lived and worked between Italy and England since the 1980s we’ve always missed that marvellous Italian institution, the local ‘ristorante pizzeria’ Boboli have hit the bullseye. Relaxed atmosphere, great service, straightforward menu, quality ingredients, very good Italian wine, and of course, these folks can cook!! But greater than all of these is a proper, bona fide, pizza! Easily as good as the best we’ve had in italy ……Maybe even better.

What a lovely restaurant with friendly and efficient staff, great home made food including the pasta dishes, wonderful pizza and fantastic menu of fish and meat dishes. Beautifully presented and some interesting menu options. Delicious food! On the Main Street of this lovely village highly recommended for so many reasons!

All our food was amazing, absolutely no faults there. I had the lamb rack which was perfectly cooked (although at £27 I would’ve expected more than two ribs). In addition I had to pay £5 for new potatoes and £5 for seasonal vegetables, granted these are to share but come on, £10 for veg and potatoes. Really lovely place and great food but I just don’t think the prices are justified.

Lovely restaurant, nice staff and very good food. Slightly limited for vegetarians, but I can assure you that the veggie options there are great! Great desserts especially!
