Caffe Milano - NOTO

A disgrace for Italian ice cream. Just horrible and artificial flavor. They also put a 25% “service” fee when you pay. There are such good ice cream places in Italy. Pick another one

My husband asked for 2 granitas from an older chap who charged 7 euros!!! This was served in a paper cup and at no point was my husband asked if he was ‘taking away’ the granitas. He joined me a little table at front of cafe.... we were the only ones sat there and perhaps we now know why! After a couple of minutes a middle aged man owner) started telling us most Rudely, we had paid for ‘take away’ granitas and therefore had to get up and leave his table!!! This is our 7th year of visiting Sicily and we have found its people warm and engaging it’s one of the many reasons we come back). We never been treated as poorly as this...we were made to feel like vagrants. In retrospect it is now clear why this cafe was empty when all around were busy...avoid this horrible place and small minded ignorant owner.

Bad service. Sitting on the wrong side of the terras and been send away. Asking nice was not an option.

Ice cream was good, but everything else were not. My girlfriend and me seated outside at the table and after a while, as nobody came to us, we entered inside and choosed 2 ice creams and one granita and went outside at the table again. The old man that served us speaked only italian and he didn't told us anything else except about the price. After we started eating the ice cream one other guy came to us and started screaming that that ice cream is for carry away, not to eating at the table. He was very rude and we felt very unpleasant. We just went away without trying to talk to him because he was very rude. After 10 days of vacation in Sicily where we have only a words of praise on italian hospitality this guy is only a statistical mistake. Just want to say, this caffe is for avoid.

Little more to say, terrible ice cream, i just threw it away when i tried it, don't waste your money! I bought 2 cones with 3 flavours, all of them terrible.
