Manna - NOTO

Set within a lighted courtyard of an old villa, you know it's going to be a special evening dining under the Sicilian sky. The staff is welcoming, professional, knowledgeable and service is outstanding we wanted for nothing! We shared beautifully composed plates of cuttlefish salad, octopus and a tortelli filled with roasted eggplant and goat cheese for staters. Each were perfectly executed with a balance of innovation and sicilian roots at the heart of each dish. For mains we had the fresh fish of the day which was perfectly cooked, the fried cod in sweet/sour sauce and polenta which was deemed delicious and two of us had the incredible tenderloins crusted in white sesame w/marsala sauce. All of them put us into foodie heaven the kitchen staff really know their craft. Everything was seasoned, portioned and presented to perfection! We had little room left but we knew we couldn't leave without trying their desserts, so we shared a sweet orange cake arancina and an almond nougat with pistachio parfait...perfect ending to an absolutely lovely and delicious evening. If you have a chance to dine at Manna, do not hesitate!! We hope to return again someday and a big bravo and thank you to the Manna crew for a meal to remember!

We visited Ristorante Manna twice during our visit to Sicily for a family wedding. We followed every restaurant recommendation from the bride from Noto to Siracusa to Marzememi, as she is known for her exquisite taste in exceptional restaurants. By far our favorite was Manna. From the moment we entered the courtyard at their new location in Lido di Noto, we felt we entered some place magical. The open fresh air, away from the hustle and bustle of the city was refreshing. The menu offers fresh Sicilian food with a welcome twist, flavors bursting with every bite. The staff were so friendly, gracious and knowledgeable, introducing each ingredient as it was presented. Special recognition goes out to Stefano, who helped us choose the perfect wines, and made us feel so welcomed. We loved our first meal so much that we returned the following week with our daughter and her new husband. They immediately remarked on how they now completely understand why we loved Manna so much the first time. Don’t miss out on this special treat! Thank you Manna!

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at their new location Lido di Notto. Beautiful restaurant in a bucolic setting. Worth the 15 minute drive from Notto. Mostly northern Italian cuisine. We enjoyed duck risotto and a tasty Bistecca alla Fiorentina tomahawk steak. Tasty cocktails and delicious local wine made for a great evening.

La mia impressione è quella di un ristorante moderno e curato nei dettagli di mise en place servizio e presentazione dei piatti senza la pretesa di cadere nel super lusso. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene ci siamo sentiti coccolati e ben serviti.
