The Eagle - Norwich

Had a delightful lunch with an intriguing menu at a charming location, complete with a beautiful garden and outdoor covered dining area. The restaurant is dog-friendly and there is ample parking available. Overall, it was great value for the experience.

Emily was only too kind to serve us when the weather was amazing by bringing the drinks to us in the garden. Proactive and attentive staff are the ones who deserve recognition. Emily is one of those all day.

I live in Norwich since five years and I have been in this fantastic pub restaurant only recently. Now, we are going here almost every weekend. They serve very nice food as you can see from the pictures. The menu is rich. There is also a nice garden on the back with tables. Moreover, they are dog friendly.

When the bill came, I expected some kind of gesture due to the hair incident, such as a discount on my drink, meal, or at least a portion of it. However, to our surprise, there was no reduction or apology. When we brought this up, the server spoke to her colleague and returned to say that since they had replaced the fries, they would not be offering anything else, not even an apology. The server was defensive about having replaced the fries and we decided to leave it at that. I paid £16 for a lukewarm burger and don't plan on returning.

Food really good. My Hake and Artichoke was hugely enjoyable and the service from the young girls was also top notch. However the interior resembles a hairdressers, no style whatsoever and the acoustics terrible. Just a crescendo of noise.
