Contribuiți la feedbackThis spot is definitely a hidden gem and underrated. Came here Tuesday 4 pm for a break from work. Ordered the colossal size burger with fries for $12. I ordered American cheese but got Swiss? Still good, similar to a double Whopper but better beef bun with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions. I’m not a big fan of raw onions but they have made me a believer ??. The raw onions are awesome ?. Happy hour is 4-6 pm Monday- Friday. $2.25 for a 16 oz Coors lite on tap. ??. Ask for the take out and sit outside on a bench facing the race track. Best $14.25 I have ever spent in Delaware and a casino PERIOD! The sweet elderly cashier also brought the food to my table. Great service attitude!
This place is incredible. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous, and the food is equally delicious. We were delighted to receive such a generous supply of food at such a reasonable cost.
The newest review is 2 years old and you can tell. There 's no direction as to whether you should wait to be seated or seat yourself. After a while we asked a teller and she told us to sit and wait for the waitress (who made eye contact with us 5 minutes prior and did not offer any assistance. 70% of the tables are marked reserved and the folks sitting at those tables are the only ones who get any attention from the wait staff. We had to wait 20 minutes after finishing our meal and stacking the tableware before getting the check, because the waitress was nowhere to be found. The whole process took way too long. However, the food was delicious and the portions were great for the price. Even just some indicator at the entrance as to how you 're seated would have improved this experience greatly. I understand staffing is stretched thin, but we didn 't get so much as a smile or anything the entire time we were there.
You probably can 't tell by looking at it, but Delcap Grill is a little treasure. It 's down to earth, with good pub food. And of course the ponies! Your very own Cheers .The wait staff really do know your name, and probably what you 're drinking also. They are friendly and professional. The best is a beautiful young lady named Noelle, who is right there when you need anything. It gets busy during live racing season, but more 's the merrier!
Good food. Good service. A little pricey though.
