Ruth's Chris Steak House - Northbrook

2 minutes after our reservation we came to a very lively hostage. we said it was a few minutes and they were in a short time with us. I asked you to stand, if possible, and they said they would do their best. 20 minutes later a host came to us that a table was ready for us, but it was not a stand, but we could wait for one more stand. we decided to wait and it was 10 minutes before a table was ready for us. once it sat one for a server to welcome us or bring us water. my steak was done wrong (crush was not added) and it had to “remade”. in reality my steak was brought back, a crust added, it was put in the many back in brown and brought out. this made the half of my steaks much more overdue than the medium rare I ordered. our escapes were brought without the table being deleted and we had to ask our server to delete our appetizers from the table and bring a fork for my man. all in all a disappointing experience. I realize that the restaurant was very busy and probably under staff, and it was a holiday, but we love ruth’s chris and we were very disappointed.

Very very disappointing I have been to several wine dinners before. So skimpy Barely had any champagne. Food was cold service was scarce.

Our meal was outstanding. Our servers Jackie and Mohamed were terrific. Can’t wait to go back!

The service was very slow, as if we didn't even exist. It took 50 minutes to have our food order taken. We were seated in a booth to the right of the room with a huge hanging light that was so bright it ruined the whole ambience. Everyone in our booth complained about the bright, hot light throughout the night. We asked to have it turned down/dimmed and we were told no it was on a timer?! We will not go back to this location; however, the food was good. If you go, don't sit in a booth to the right of the room and ask for a waiter who is efficient.

This Ruth Chris Is phenomenal! I have been here over the years repeatedly on trips to town and it’s always GREAT! The service is over the top excellent and the food is delicious! Well done everyone!
