Lotus Saigon - NORTH WARD

I recently dined at a charming and cozy restaurant that was beautifully decorated with murals depicting Vietnamese art. I had lunch there and will definitely be returning for dinner soon. The food was delicious, receiving a 5-star rating, while the service was good, earning a 4-star rating. Overall, I would rate the atmosphere a 4 stars as well.

I went there and had my dinner and ordered a quail and a small pho. The quail charge me $16 dollars but only have two little pieces, and the meat is dry and chewy. The pho taste is fine, but the noodles are crushed and stick together. Also the service is impressive . No one tries to clean the table for me when I sit down. The waitress seems not really patient with us. Just come and go quickly, and that makes me feel like telling us no questions for her. I need to use the napkin with water and clean up myself. Tonight’s experience was disappointing. My (basic/popular) meal took 25min to be served when my table got all their meals after 2min of waiting. Within these 25 minutes they came out twice with the wrong meals and argued they were for someone else on the same table even though I ordered before them (two couples at one table) Someone in management should really have a talk with the latino waitress because what I experienced tonight was far from customer service. She gave me wrong meals twice and argued something else every time, “its not for you, kitchen messed up, uber eats was before you, 25min is not a long time” and constantly talked over me when I asked for some kind of compensation. I had a delicious pancake, which was vegan, and tasty vegetable dumplings at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was a dinner meal, with prices ranging from A$40 to A$60 per person.

This place is perfect for enjoying some tasty noodles. I can confidently say that it is just as good as some of the best spots I've tried in Melbourne. I will definitely be returning regularly to sample more of their menu. I give it a 5 out of 5 rating and highly recommend it.
