Today was our household's first experience at this restaurant, and I must say, we were thoroughly impressed! The portions for all five dishes were incredibly generous. I think we've discovered a new favorite place to eat! May God bless your hands and your business.
Mrs. Joyce is truly wonderful! It was my first visit in years, and she greeted me as if we were old friends. She even shared some laughs with my husband. The food was outstanding—definitely authentic soul food. I will absolutely be back!
From the fried chicken to the peach cobbler and lemon cake, as well as the catfish, potato salad, and spicy mac and cheese—everything here is simply delicious! The mashed potatoes were so good that my teenage son actually slowed down to savor them. This restaurant is a great spot to pick up a picnic and enjoy it by the river.
The food quality was good, and the pricing was reasonable for the portion sizes. However, the customer service could use some improvement.
