The Good Nite - North Hollywood

The atmosphere is great, whether you're alone or with friends. They have karaoke most nights, which is a lot of fun and there's never any judgment at the bar. Amanda is the best bartender! She's super friendly and also knows how to whip up an amazing drink.

If you decide to visit this place, don't expect to enjoy singing and having a great time with your friends or group. The woman in charge of the singing seems to favor certain customers, even if you've been waiting over an hour after requesting a song. It appears she accepts cash to prioritize some people in front of the line. It's disappointing and frustrating that one person can ruin the experience for newcomers. I won’t be coming back again unless you don't mind being overlooked.

The Good Note is a cozy little bar that hosts events on select nights. When I visited on a Sunday, they had stand-up comedy followed by open mic karaoke. The drink selection is small but decent, though they don't serve food. However, you're welcome to order food and bring it with you. Since it's a small venue, space can be limited on busy nights. Parking is available, but it's street parking. Would I return? Probably not, but it's a nice place for hanging out with friends.

Classic karaoke bar that can get a bit crowded and cramped but is a great time. Went on a Wednesday night to witness the karaoke league semifiles and was not disappointed! They have a decent selection of beer/seltzer/cocktails, which the bartender was actually making to order, even when it was super-packed! The margarita my gf got was delicious. Definitely arrive early if you want to sing, as i hear open mic slots can fill up pretty quickly, on any nite.

This place has such an amazing energy. The drinks are bomb. The people were so fun and engaging and the staff were so joyful and welcoming. I even met one of my favorite series on Netflix actress Brooke from In The Dark ! This is definitely the place to be!
