The Highlander - North Hertfordshire

I went to The Highlander for my birthday dinner with my daughter and her fiancé. We received a friendly welcome and enjoyed a good variety of meal options. Everything we ordered was extremely tasty and the service was exceptional. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is very welcoming. I really enjoy eating here.

Warm welcome and delicious Sunday roast with excellent service. Food was quick to arrive which is always welcome when you have small children! Thank you for a lovely lunch.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at this charming traditional pub that serves specialty cuisine. One highlight was the blow torch mackerel from the specials menu, which was absolutely divine! The hospitality and welcome we received were top-notch, with the service being exceptionally helpful, kind, respectful, and attentive. We never felt rushed or like we were being watched - instead, we were made to feel like welcomed and special guests. Booking was a breeze and definitely worth it. We will be returning regularly without a doubt. To top it off, we even received a complimentary drink to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to the staff for making our special day even more memorable.

Today I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. I sat outside and enjoyed the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The food was delicious, the drinks were cold and just what I wanted, and Charlotte was a fantastic host. She was warm, friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning soon. Delicious!

This pub is traditional, but serves modern delicious food with an excellent menu. I love the owners as they work so hard to create an incredible atmosphere.
