We only ordered off the menu and we were extremely disappointed with the service. Even the coffee was terrible. There was no atmosphere and the staff were hardly around to serve us. We will not be returning. It seems like this restaurant won't last long.

The food at this restaurant was awful, with outdated presentation and management's response to honest feedback was appalling. As locals, we were disappointed by the poor quality of the food and the overall unpleasant experience. We will not be returning. It's a shame because the restaurant has potential to be a nice place to visit, but it requires a skilled chef, modern management approach, and a new menu. The management should listen to honest reviews and learn from customer feedback in order to improve.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the restaurant had a musty smell and did not feel very inviting. The young waitstaff were polite. The menu was lacking in variety, with mostly outdated options available. I ordered the beef stroganoff, which was bland and lacked flavor. It seemed like a simple mixture of cream and beef in the pan. The vegetables were overcooked. While the meal was edible, it was not enjoyable and felt like a waste of money. My partner ordered the "toad in the hole," which was advertised as homemade on the menu. However, the Yorkshire pudding was flat and tough, clearly overcooked. The vegetables were also overcooked and the sausages were mediocre at best. When we complained to the waitress about the inedible meal, the manager came over and admitted that the Yorkshire pudding was frozen. He then went on to boast about his and his wife's experience in the industry, using inappropriate language in the process. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant. I have had better meals at local pubs that do not even specialize in home-cooked food. As frequent diners, this was the worst dining experience we have had at a local restaurant.

Long story short an utter shambles and spoilt our day! No soup and no melon left no pigs in blankets but worst of all NO turkey! We waited and wasted almost 3 hours then left having had no food and lots of other customers doing the same, such a shame but complaints that have followed on different occasions suggests this venue may not survive

Took my Mum for her birthday and had an Afternoon Tea. There were 4 of us who ate and the food was delicious and plentiful. They even boxed up the leftovers and we took them home. Would definitely book again
