The Codfather, Proper Fish Chips

Always fresh food! the fish and chips advertise greasy and their savory pies are always great!

The food was excellent, the best tartar sauce I've ever had. The lady who took our order was so sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend this place. They know how to do it right!

Always enjoy the fish at CodFather. During my recent visit I noticed the prices have gone up (like most places I'm sure) yet again, but the cod fillet also got smaller. Hard to see one average size fillet being worth $8 (with nothing else). Can get an entire meal with sides at other places for $8. $12 if you want fish and chips, but no drink. The chips (fries for us non-English types) are good, but certainly not the best fries I've ever had. Same rustic inside and largely booth seating as always. I like CodFather but feel like the price increases and smaller portions may be pushing them out of being a regular spot for me.

Ah mazing and proper fish n chips; flaky, nicely battered, and delicious. The service is warm and friendly. We love this place!

The best fried fish I've had. 1st time customer and we will definitely be back for more!!! This place is a must.
