Contribuiți la feedbackLovely friendly staff, lots of different areas to enjoy from aquarium to play area, a large theatre, activities offered like rope-making, interactive exhibits, a solid cafe, great gift shop, and, oh yes, the ENORMOUS BATTLESHIP to visit. (Please see separate review). A great day out for adults and kids alike, we would go back in a heartbeat if in the area again. The only challenge I think is parking (none on site for visitors) but a few garages just a short walk away. As some of the other reviews say, good idea to wear comfortable shoes for getting around, especially as one of the jewels in the crown is the USS Wisconsin which comes as you might expect a battleship to come!
The Nauticus was so much fun. It is a lot of walking so make sure you have comfy shoes on. The exhibits were fun and very interactive if you have kids. They even have little movie rooms to watch different documentaries so you can take a little break from all the walking. The gift shop is nice and they do have a cafeteria if you're hungry. I would recommend eating before or after you go just to save some money. The staff is super nice all throughout the museum. Now the Nauticus ship itself was a ship there are a lot of stairs to climb nothing super special but fun to have that experience.
Wonderful experience. Great, friendly and knowledgeable people. The museum was fun and sobering. The battleship was fun.The food was good there too.
We went for Father’s Day and had a great time. There was a lot to see and do. The Cafè had delicious food. My only complaint is about the restrooms. On the first floor in the women’s restroom, there are two stalls, no changing table, one paper towel dispenser and one soap dispenser. I literally had to wait to use the soap and reach over the other sink to use it. I would think the restrooms would be more family oriented or a little bigger. This lady came in looking for a changing table and had to go somewhere else to change her child’s diaper…
We had a really great time here. The video game exhibit that was going on was super cool.My kids learned a lot about ships and loved all the hands on learning about them. The ship is hard to navigate, but it is really fun to walk through and learn about how the crews lived and what they did. It's put together wonderfully. I truly enjoyed some of the sounds they had going in certain rooms that really made them immersive for us.
