If you want a cheap but authentic chinese cuisine, there is one right at the heart of Makati City. You'll be blown away with the delicious taste and generous amount of serving for each dish.
Excellent serving sizes. Authentic home-cooking taste. There's always Chinese eating there (at night so that just adds to how legit it is. :
One of the best hole-in-the-wall diners I've been too. The place serves hearty meals without breaking the bank! My achi and I ordered xiao long bao, kuchai dumplings, spicy beef noodles and pork tripe. The dumpling and xlb wrappers were a bit too thick as compared to the one's I've had, but the two were well-stuffed with flavorful fillings. As for the beef noodles, one serving can be shared by two to three persons. The beef was tender and the soup tasted amazing with just the right amount of spices. The noodles were hand-pulled and cooked al dente. But, my favorite among all our orders is the spicy PORK TRIPE. I can't put into words how delicious this dish is. It's like the spices were tangled into one amazing serving of pork innards and finely sliced zucchini! PS: Since I'm into spicy dishes, I have high tolerance for spicy food. If you happen to have low tolerance for such, you might want to consider asking the staff to lessen the spice. Anyway, meals are best enjoyed when they suit your preference. Hehe :
This was first chinese resto that i went to. Masarap yung food. Even the dandan noodles soup at a price of 60 pesos. It was worth it. Babalik at babalik tlga ako dito.
