Lartizan - Niles

I took a gamble and it paid off. The place was quiet and sparse despite the prices not being exorbitant. So I was worried about the taste but every from the soup, appetizer and main dish tasted great. Give it a go but they do take their time in preparing the dishes.

The best french boulangerie and bakery in Taguig! The lamb stew is amazing and so were the oysters--they even have tabasco. Bread rolls were yummy and they have samples. Strawberry rose tea was delish. Smell ALL their different teas and you'll be in tea heaven. Bouillabaisse was also great.

Lartizan First thing you must know: This place is EXPENSIVE Next thing: it's delicious. Why do I go you ask? Well everyday at 9pm It's fifty percent off. Which makes it worth it. That's if you go early enough because sometimes people go here and buy the entire store leaving nothing left but some bagels. Must try's: chocolate croissant sourdough bread (make sandwhiches) peach pie thing Most of everything in the display is good. If you see chocolate croissants available at 9pm. Do not hesitate buy all of them and give me one for the amazing tip. It's rare to see those baby's available at 9. But if you do you're welcome

For such a posh place their pastries are not overly expensive. Their Peach Danish (60 PHP) is not only good, but excellent with its decent price, no other pastry shop in BGC can compete. Expect a creamy and hefty pieces of pastry goodness. Their Almond Croissant (98 PHP) is more than just the sprinkle of almond slices you see, it's also filled with a sweet cream inside that just makes you want more. They only make 6 pieces a day which is odd, but hopefully more in the near future, as we certainly aren't the only fans. If you have time to splurge, suggest staying for a cup of their Hot Chocolate (190 PHP) it's served in a pot (330 ml) which is enough for 2 cups. Share it with a friend or simply indulge in the chocolatey goodness. Staff are courteous and efficient. Water is refilled timely and sometimes even before you even ask. First timers be at ease as the staff can explain fully the products they offer. Here's a tip: 50% off on all their goodies starting 9PM daily, but be quick you're going to be competing with the nearby residents for the little supply they have. We've dined here twice and when 9PM strikes the store is invaded and devoid of pastries in under 15 minutes, talk about a quick sale.

Cafe Lartizan is a place I would frequent if it wasn't so pricey. It's very...elegant, for one. And one of my favorite charsimatic preachers actually frequent this place. If I can catch him here, that would be totally awesome. But I was able to spend one Valentine's day lunch here for a work meeting, which isn't a bad experience too. Overall, it had a really nice ambience, really articulate staff and a very upscale quality of food. I've had one of the best plates of Pasta Bolognese here. That wasn't everything to the experience, too! The café handed all the ladies inside a rose. It was such a heart-warming gesture that even if I wouldn't get one from a non-existent significant other (or from my list of fictional husbands), I still have received a red rose in a day where I usually celebrate the awereness of my singularity! Such a sweet surprise!
