Located in the SM Jazz Residences complex the restaurant is a bit of a hole in the wall as it is separated from the rest of the restaurants in the mall, although it is right in front of the condo lobby. It was lunchtime and I wasn 't in the mood for something heavy. I ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice as it was something I hadn 't really tried before. The meal was served just like shown in the pictures. The chicken by itself was a good, but eating it with the rice and included chill sauce and finely chopped ginger really brought it up another level. I wasn 't sure what made up the darker sauce though. The rice was savoury, like garlic or fried rice with a little extra something. I was pretty shocked at how something that looked so simple could taste so good. Overall it was a good meal, satisfying but not too heavy. The only complaint I have is that they have a minimum if you are paying with a credit card... which goes along with my opinion that their prices are quite reasonable for a steakhouse .

Exquisite steaks and hainanese chickens! The portehouse is a must try! It's worth spending on.
