Picked FelyJ 's among the bunch of restos on Greenbelt since its one of those good-for-groups and festive filipino restos I have been eyeing. Its been here for quite awhile and being part of the LJC is quite a reputable group.. I secured reservations a couple of days prior so seating wasnt a problem on the day. It had been a busy day indeed, with a throng of people waiting that evening. We ordered some appetizers and drinks first while waiting, so a couple of us had the Mojioto (forgot my other friends ' which was fairly okay. A small basket of munchies..bisuto/shrimp cracker was served with our order of Shrimp and Pomelo Salad. Initial impressions was that the serving was small but was tasty, nonetheless. We also had the calamares, though nothing special about it. As the group gathered and the night progressed, we had ordered some of the mains: Crispy Pata was indeed the piece-de-resistance of the evening (I had been trying to order any of the lamb or meat dishes but were unfortunately not available anymore, which was a bit of disappointment .The slab of meat was had soft meat, and crunchy skin as it should be garnished with crunchy garlic bits. KKK or their KareKare was okay, it was peanuty good but we thought the serving size was smaller for sharing..true that their serving sizes are good for 2-3 only. Lola Isings Adobo was also good, rightly paired with (were those roasted garlic? , as well as the Chicken Inasal, Tortang Talong and Gising Gising, all paired with steamed plain rice. Now the service was friendly and attentive (albeit being busy however was really slow. Orders came out at least a good 25-30 minutes or so after ordering. We thought that the serving sizes versus the price of the food was underwhelming (we all agreed other restos have a better matchpoint , but good food nonetheless.
One of the best restaurants that serve Filipino dishes. I loved their Sinigang na Baboy it was my kind of asim ng sinigang. Ang dami ng serving nila sa pork, unlike others na 1 or 2 pieces lang yung pork. Chicken Inasal and Tokwa't Baboy are both good. Pancit Canton is good. We also had the Ensalada something. The one with mangga ng bagoong. I must say, wow! Tamang timpla yung bagoong, masarap! Everything's worth the price. Perfect for families.
As soon as I landed in Manila from a 9-hour frligjt from Dubai I was asked by my friends what i wanted to eat. I almost screamed “Sinigang na Baboy!” After goin through the horrendous traffic we have decided to make a quick stop in Greenbelt and look for a Filipino Resto... and there was Fely J’s! The sinigang broth was so good and tangy! The lechon kawali is crunchy and so juicy. The gising gising completed the evening. Dont want to miss out on my Kamias Shake.... so good. Sarap sarap! I am so glad to be home.
I love how they treat customers metion Miss Krista for our unli chicharon appetizer you are the best. I love the food especially the sissig rice ughh.
Fely J’s one of LCJ companies’ resto is perfect for family gathering. They offer good old Filipino meals that will make you reminisce your mother’s homecooked meals. Their signature dilis rice is also good. Price-wise, all are good for sharing. Service was also good. The Eatventurers
