Jing Kee - Newtownabbey

In my opinion, this is the top Chinese restaurant in Ballyclare. They offer a wide selection of dishes on the menu, although they are all quite standard for a Chinese takeout. As of September 23, most dishes are priced at £8, which includes the choice of boiled rice, chips, or fried rice for an additional 50p.

I don't eat take away food all that often, but I do like the Jing Kee, their curry sauce is the nicest Chinese curry in town and their special fried rice and chow mien is lovely. I do have to agree that their delivery time does take forever, so I now just pop down instead, it's never that long if you pick up.

Having to wait over two hours for a delivery.....still waiting. Rang and told it was now on the board. What does that even mean?

We've been Jing Kee customers for 10+ years. Over the last year the food has been pretty questionable. We normally get a delivery, but the last couple of times the orders have been wrong and thrown together. I then went in to the actual Chinese I was shocked at how dirty and greasy the place is. The man cooking was scratching his privates and rubbing his face whilst handing food without gloves. The food literally did go to the dogs.

Ordered mixed grill with fried rice. Fried rice was missing and mixed grill was just 2 slices of bacon and 2 slices of liver and a slice of chicken
