Sonic Drive-in - Newport News

The customer service at this restaurant is extremely poor, especially from the staff member with the blue highlights. They were very rude and unacceptable.

The service at this restaurant was excellent and it's always enjoyable to dine at a 1950s-style fast food establishment. However, the chicken patty in the Texas toast chicken club sandwich was awful - clearly pre-made and not fresh. The lettuce had a strange, old taste as if it had been sitting for a week. The best part of the meal were the temptations, but even they were served cold. For almost $16, this was extremely disappointing. Even the soda was small and filled with crushed ice that melted quickly and watered down the drink. The server who brought the food was friendly and the only positive aspect of the pickup experience, as at least the food was lukewarm and fresh.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, but I am interested in trying their milkshakes. Can you tell me how much they cost? The parking situation was also great.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The staff was super rude before I even had a chance to get a word out. I love Sonic. Always have. I'll be back for sure but never at this location.

The food here is meh for the most part EXCEPT for the breakfast burritos and French toast sticks. Otherwise the service is always kind and accommodating and the drive up stalls are so relaxed compared to the normal drive-thru window. Love Sonic.Parking: Plenty of parking especially with the stalls as well.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu which comes with applesauce and milk as the combo sides.
