Rhumbline - Newport

We happened upon this little gem on "Tumbleweed Tuesday" and enjoyed a fabulous meal.

Read the reviews and thought that this would be a nice place to have a late lunch, upon walking in we had to wait almost 5 min for a hostess to seat us.

Shannon the waitress was amazingI was being a finicky customerI don't think I've ever been this high maintenance.

Party of four for brunch every one with a rhumbling stomach for hours after. Indifferent service. Hm.

Best meal in Newport and you can't beat the price. Great to get away from the busyness of Thames St. We enjoyed the fresh bread served warm out of the oven, the grilled baguette and heirloom tomato salad, the fresh pappardelle, and the grilled pizza.
