Chart House - Newport

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. the food and drinks were excellent and had a table with a great view of the city. the waiting staff was extremely attentive. Finally, 't had a better experience and will certainly return. very recommended for all fans of seafood. we enjoyed our kokos garnelen appetizer, my wife enjoyed their chart their cure options with steak and shrimp, and the chef 's special (bronzed Mahi-Mahi with crab meat,) which I had excellent.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and a very knowledgeable waiter. the foods were carefully processed so that each part added its pieces. I am definitiw back.

Chart house was both a delicious and pleasant surprise! after my first visit I spent an evening with various appetizers, while my wife decided to try the strip steak. at the beginning I had calamari with a marinara sauce and it was fresh, tasty and much more than I had eaten. I went to a sea fruit tower of crabs, avocado and diced mangos and seasoned and finished with oysters on the half-shell. eating these dishes were prepared with care and were nothing short of wonderful! the strip steak was as delicate and tasty as anyone I ever had. the intention was beautiful and I can't say enough about how excellent the service was during our visit. we finished the evening with coffee and its famous muddy cake. it was an unforgettable meal that definitely requires a visit! as always, enjoy!

We came here to celebrate and have a beautiful romantic dinner. eating was delicious and the waiting service is always amazing. I visit chart house almost once a month. the image I published is the sunset view. beautiful!

Just delightful. We were at a table right by the windows with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was bright, cheerful, friendly, patient, and attentive. The food was superb. Maple miso salmon, chimichurri steak, prime rib, and seafood 'pot pie ' (sans pot) were just fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish were spot on, from the maple glaze counterpoint to the salmon, to the spice of the chimichurri sauce, to the sweeter flavors of the pot pie. Nothing bland, or overly spicey, or out of balance. Even the cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail was fantastic, as were the shrimp beignets. The location right on riverboat row is ideal, easy to reach, and has a private parking lot just for the restaurant. Whether you 're a local looking for an elegant night out, or a traveler staying at one of the nearby hotels, you 'll be sure to enjoy your meal!
