I'm originally from California and have been STRUGGLING to find good, well seasoned Hispanic/Mexican food since I moved to New England. This place is by far the best I've found in Connecticut. I had the Birria Tacos, chips, salsa and guacamole and the whole experience tasted and felt like home. I am struggling no more. The tacos and broth were so well seasoned and so filling. The salsa was perfect and chips were golden brown. Every star was earned.I am super excited to go back and try more of their food. Thank you Plaza Azteca for giving me a taste of California, you made this girl very happy.

Vegetarian options: The flavor was just right, not overpowering. Did not feel heavy. One of the best mex restaurants i have been to in the last 15 years. The service and ambience were great too.

I was went in just to see what the fuss was all about, I enjoyed the food, everything was made to perfection from the fresh tasting lemonade, to the Street elote corn. I ordered the Birria tacos and I can't say enough how great they were. Definitely enjoyed the food, the staff was great and the environment was relaxing. Definitely planning on making future visits.

PLEASE! Do yourself a huge favor and do not give these crooks any money! The customer service there blows my mind. They wouldn't even do whatever is right for the consumer. Most places these days forget how important customer service is. They messed up my order and when I called them, the so called manager was so rude! They need to send these people to school to get education on how to properly address issues and their professional approach was non-existent. For me and my family, this is it. You will never get any business from us. Have a great time going down. You will not stay in business if you don't learn how to treat your customers. I wish I could give them a negative star!
